A ceremony was held in Astana to honor the best medical workers in the country.

On the eve of Republic Day, a ceremony was held in the capital to honor the best representatives of Kazakhstan’s healthcare system.

The event was attended by renowned doctors, experienced industry professionals, heads of research institutes, national and scientific centers, as well as mid-level medical workers.

In his speech, the Minister of Health noted that the healthcare sector as a whole is experiencing steady positive growth, reflecting the country’s accelerated development.

In Kazakhstan, high-tech medical care is provided at a level comparable to that of leading global clinics. Our doctors perform complex surgeries, including heart and lung transplants, and treat neurosurgical diseases. “In recent years, more than 2,500 medical facilities have been built, including modern hospitals, clinics, and research centers, including an emergency medical care center,” said the Minister.

In his speech, Ali noted that over the years of independence, Akmaral Alnazarova has made a significant contribution to improving the quality of cardiological, oncological, and pediatric care in the country.

The Minister emphasized that the main priorities of the state policy in the field of healthcare are maternal and child health, digital transformation of healthcare, as well as improving the quality and accessibility of medical care.

Among the key initiatives are the Säluksy Analysis program, the modernization of the rural health system and the improvement of the medical personnel training system. “All these achievements have become possible thanks to the constant support of the President and the Government, as well as the tireless work of medical professionals who have dedicated themselves to protecting the health of citizens and improving their quality of life,” Alnazarova said.
